Kim Kardashian's private jet is visited by aircraft rescue firefighters as she touches down safely in Los Angeles

Kim Kardashian's private jet was boarded by aircraft rescue firefighters after she touched down in Los Angeles on Friday.

Multiple members of the Los Angeles Fire Department specializing in aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) could be seen climbing into the parked plane.

An eyewitness on the scene claimed that the emergency services were there to help a stewardess who complained of dizziness.

After she exited the plane, Kim cut a lowkey figure, dressed in a simple silver jumpsuit with her long dark hair worn down.

The incident came less than two years after Kim's frightening air ordeal when her private plane was forced to turn around amid intensifying turbulence.

She was supposed to be whisked off to a surprise 42nd birthday trip to Las Vegas, but the weather conditions became so dangerous she had to return to Los Angeles.

Kim was accompanied by her mother Kris Jenner and sister Khloe Kardashian, as well as a claque of friends like Steph Shepherd, Malika Haqq and Tracey Romulus.

As the turbulence grew stronger, Kim nervously remarked: 'I have to make it to 43 please,' as seen on an episode of The Kardashians.

'I'm getting a little nervous, I don't love turbulence,' said Khloe in a confessional, describing the situation as 'some scary s**t.'

Even Kris said: 'Well, I used to be a flight attendant, so I'm really good at being calm on a plane when there's turbulence, but it seems a little extreme tonight.'

In her own confessional, Kim explained the rollercoaster experience to her fans, sharing the thought process behind the decision to turn back.

'We go down and then we pull back up, twice, and that scared me. The first time I'm like, oh you're joking,' Kim said.

'And once I realized it's not a joke, we actually can't land, I'm like, I'm not messing with my life, like, let's go home. But it sucks.'

Back in Los Angeles, Kim and her loved ones decided to salvage the evening by indulging in a late-night trip to In-N-Out.

They clambered onto a party bus where they washed down their fast food with Jell-O shots, ensuring Kim's birthday retained some celebratory energy.
