Shania Twain reveals the bizarre way she wants to enter Glastonbury as she prepares to take to the stage
Shania Twain has revealed the very unique way she wants to enter her set at Glastonbury Festival on Sunday.
The country star, 59, is set to take to the Pyramid Stage on June 30 for the coveted legends slot, filled by the likes of Johnny Cash and Diana Ross over the years.
And judging by her ideas for an entrance, the Canadian singer-songwriter's set is not one to be missed.
Speaking to BBC Breakfast on Wednesday, she revealed: 'I love horses. I love all animals. I'm going to go see if there's a horse around I can borrow – maybe I could go riding, that would be awesome.'
When asked if she would consider bringing one of the animals on stage, she added: 'I could bring a horse to the stage. I don't even know if I'm allowed to do that. I'd have to find out – if it's allowed, I'll do it.'

MailOnline has contacted Glastonbury Festival to provide clarity on the singer's plans.
Shania's fond love of horses is no surprise to her fans, because she often shares footage of herself horseriding on TikTok and they have even featured in multiple of her music videos.
Her most recent tour featured a horse-shaped motorbike prop which she rode on stage.
In 2020, Shania even released videos of herself performing acoustic versions of her songs to a horse and back in 2005 one of the animals featured heavily in her music video for Don't!
To announce her Las Vegas residency in 2012, the country star pulled the unique stunt of leading a parade of forty horses through the city.
Most recently, the cover art for her 2023 album Queen Of Me also features the singer posed up on horseback.
Now, fans are keen to see whether she will bring anything horse-related to the iconic Pyramid Stage.
In the Tuesday 18 June edition of Radio Times, the Man! I Feel Like A Woman! hitmaker revealed she was on the edge of her seat as she awaited confirmation of her slot for the festival.

'My manager said, "I wouldn't be surprised if that comes up," but it's an invite that feels like a once-in-a-lifetime thing,' she said. 'I was on the edge of my seat until it became a reality.'
Shania also opened up about starting out in the music industry at such a young age and recognised how male-dominated it is, as she admitted it can be intimating for women.
Ahead of her Glastonbury performance, Shania referred to getting booked in the legends slot as an 'honour' and 'accolade'.
'Other people who have played the slot, like Lionel Richie and Dolly Parton, are musicians I'm heavily influenced by and look up to,' she said.
Shania has never been to Glastonbury, so when asked how the gig came up she said: 'I'd been hearing about it for years.'
She added: 'I'm excited but nervous. I'm going as a fan, too: I want to cheer on my fellow Canadian Avril Lavigne, and I've never seen Cyndi Lauper or Coldplay live.'
Of starting out as a performer so young, Shania said: 'I began my career on a live stage so young – my first gig was when I was eight – that by the time I got my deal in Nashville, I was fearless about the music industry.
'I didn't open myself up to intimidation, but I recognise it is intimidating for most women. The industry is mostly men, not just in the higher positions, but also musicians.
Shania said that not as many women pursue touring band jobs but vowed to 'show younger girls it's possible'.
Glastonbury 2024 will take place from Wednesday 26 June to Sunday 30 June.
