Married At First Sight star Dan Hunjas revealed on Thursday the horrifying moment his daughter Keeley was attacked by a kangaroo when she was just a toddler.
The former reality TV star, 43, took to Instagram with a shocking photograph of his young tot, who is now 18, being mauled in the face by the marsupial.
He explained to his followers in a video that he and Keeley 'went on a dad-daughter adventure to a zoo' when one of the animals latched on and 'started shaking her'.
Dan said the kangaroo appeared 'friendly and sweet' when they approached it and young Keeley, who he shares with first wife Talisha, began to pet it.
'I had one of those cameras on a lanyard around my neck so I literally just leaned back and went to take the photo,' the entrepreneur began.

'As I hit the button this kangaroo's just gone "whack!" and latched onto my daughter's face and started shaking her,' he continued.
'In that moment I dropped the camera, I launched at this roo and got her off my daughter.
'Then this thing started attacking me. So now I'm in the fight with this kangaroo while simultaneously trying to see if my daughter is okay. '

Despite the terror he felt in the moment, Dan said all ended well when he realised his daughter 'didn't have a single mark on her which was so lucky'.
'No one was hurt, everyone was fine, we got a cool pic and a funny story and we all lived to fight another day,' he added.
Fans of MAFS will recall Dan's tumultuous time on the Channel Nine show last year when he was matched with dental hygienist Sandy Jawanda.

The pair's relationship was anything but smooth sailing, with Dan admitting he wasn't attracted to his wife but was willing to stay in the experiment for the exposure.
Sandy and Dan, who broke up on the show in March, tied the knot during the season premiere, which aired in late January last year.
Dan then briefly dated his long-time friend Samantha who raised eyebrows at the nuptials by wearing an inappropriately racy dress while sitting with his guests.
When asked about the relationship on Fitzy & Wippa, Sandy said she had not noticed Samantha at the wedding because Dan invited 'a lot of girls'.
