Kristin Cavallari has addressed her weight loss years ago when she was married to former football player Jay Cutler, 41, her husband from 2013 until 2022.

The 37-year-old reality TV star said that she got down to 102lbs and was 'very thin' due to stress from the 'unhappy' union that resulted in three children.

And now the Uncommon James designer is back up to 114lbs which the 5ft3in star feels better about, she added.

Cavallari made her comments during Tuesday's episode of her Let's Be Honest podcast.

The Laguna Beach star was asked by a fan how she looked so thin when making Very Cavallari, which aired from 2018 to 2020.

'I was very thin. I'll put it in perspective for you guys. I'm 5'3'. I currently weigh 114lbs. Filming Very Cavallari, I got down to 102lbs and I was eating the same amount of food that I'm eating now,' she explained.

Cavallari admitted that the marriage was 'unhappy' and made her stress out.

'The difference was I was so unhappy and so stressed out,' she explained.

'I look back at photos from that time period and I am like, "Holy s**t!' I was rail f***ing thin. I was skin and bones. I looked like s**t,' she admitted.

'I think I look so much better now. And you guys, that was just stress. That was being in a really unhappy marriage, quite honestly. Literally, I was so unhappy and I had way too much on my plate.'

And the jewelry designer added she thinks she is better off at 114lbs.

This is not the first time Kristin has talked about her weight loss during her Cutler marriage.

In June 2022, she shared that she was happy with her figure after having added a few extra pounds.

In an interview with Us Weekly, the reality TV star provided an update on her approach to health and fitness.

'My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have. I'm not trying to lose weight,' the Uncommon James founder told the outlet.

She continued, 'I don't weigh myself. I can tell how my clothes fit me.'

Kristin added, 'I've put on a lot of weight in the last few years, but in a good way.'

The Very Cavallari alumna noted at the time that she looked at old photos of herself and was 'shocked at how thin' she had once been.

'I didn't realize it at the time, how thin I was,' she admitted. 'So I'm happy that I've put on weight.'

Kristin acknowledged that her naturally slender body type made it challenging for her to build muscle.

'I'm really petite. I have no hips. I'm just small,' she explained.

'And so if I don't work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.'

The television personality revealed that she now works out three days a week with a personal trainer who 'kicks my a**'.

'He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I've ever lifted in my entire life,' she said.

'I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I'm the strongest I've ever been. I'm just really comfortable in my skin right now, which is a really good feeling.'

The designer went on to say that she will often do a fourth day of exercise on her own including working out for 30 minutes on a VersaClimber, which she adds, 'will also kick your butt, man.'

In addition to adhering to a consistent fitness regimen, Kristen told the outlet that she maintains a healthy diet and rarely drinks alcohol.

'I think it's kind of everything in a healthy lifestyle, it all works together', Kristin said.

'I feel like I'm only doing the things that I really love right now and that feels really good,' she concluded.

'My work-life balance right now is at a perfect place and I'm really thankful for that.'

The Hills veteran, who shares sons Camden and Jaxon, and daughter Saylor, with ex-husband Jay Cutler, has previously said that pregnancy changed her outlook on body image and dieting.

In her 2016 autobiography Balancing in Heels, Kristin wrote, 'Becoming pregnant made me get serious about my health. Before pregnancy, I thought zero-calorie food was good for you and every calorie was equal.

'Deep down, I knew that my eating habits weren't truly healthful, but I put a lot of pressure on myself to be thin. I was my own worst critic: I hated the way I looked in certain pictures.

'Everyone around me was tiny, and I felt like I had to be too. I thought counting calories gave me control over my body.'

She explained, 'But when I became pregnant, I knew that everything I did, and especially what I ate, had a direct effect on my baby.'

Kristin explained that during her first pregnancy, she adopted a new approach toward nutrition which involved reading food labels as opposed to counting calories as well as consuming all-natural food.

'For the first time in my life, I didn't care if I gained a lot of weight,' she wrote. 'It was a time to eat well and eat smart, and even indulge in food that was forever off-limits in my pre-pregnancy life, including 'fattening' things like cheese and pasta.

'I decided not to look at calories but instead to read ingredient labels and to reevaluate my ideas about avoiding so-called fattening foods.

'No matter what, I would eat only real food, no processed, chemical-laden junk. If it was good quality, real food, I would give in to cravings and enjoy every second.'
