Megan Thee Stallion breaks down in tears onstage before performing her hit song Cobra during Hot Girl Summer Tour in Tampa

Megan Thee Stallion was overcome with emotion while performing in Tampa on Saturday night.

The 29-year-old Grammy winner — who recently debuted her raciest music video to date — fought back tears as she began to sing her hit Cobra at the Amalie Arena during her Hot Girl Summer Tour.

As seen in a viral fan video, the rapper paused as her eyes began to well up with tears, forcing her to put her head down to collect herself, with every moment captured on the giant screen behind her.

She moved to start singing as the music began, but halted after just a few bars, needing another pause to steady herself.

Megan then regained her composure, swaying to the beat as she started to rap, cheered on by the crowd.

The teary incident comes after Emimem rapped about Megan Thee Stallion's shooting in his latest track Houdini.

The 51-year-old rapper appeared to reference the 2020 incident where the Hiss hitmaker was shot in the feet by Tory Lanez.

'If I was to ask for Megan Thee Stallion if she would collab with me/Would I really have a shot at a feat?' Eminem sings.

The backlash quickly ensued on social media, with fans condemning the Oscar winner for seemingly poking fun at Megan Thee Stallion's 'traumatic' experience.

'F*** this guy. Men love to bring up traumatic moments in women’s lives for attention. Leave Megan alone,' posted a fan.

'This is so random & disgusting did he think he ate or something?' one wrote, as another chimed in, 'This is such low hanging fruit. It's so unbelievably pathetic.'

An X user shared: 'Eminem’s career has largely been built on being shocking and provocative to certain audiences … Being 51 years old and taking shots at Megan Thee Stallion? Out of touch.'
