Joey Essex's ex Vanessa Bauer 'splits from her businessman boyfriend just nine months after making their romance official'
Dancing On Ice star Vanessa Bauer has reportedly split from her boyfriend Dan Underwood after just nine months together.
The skater, 28, had made her romance with the businessman official last year, but sources claim the pair have drifted apart in recent weeks.
While Vanessa is now reportedly focusing on her career, and she and Dan remain friends, and still follow each other on social media.
A source told The Sun: 'Vanessa and Dan are still on good terms and are friends, but their job takes them to different parts of the world and they have struggled with the distance.
'They realised they better off as friends for now, but still have a lot of love and respect for each other.

'Vanessa is busy with her career and is focusing on herself and her acting right now. While Dan is busy travelling the world for work, so it's been difficult to maintain something long-term.'
MailOnline has contacted a representative for Vanessa Bauer for comment.
She and Dan had previously made their romance official in September 2023, when they posed for snaps together at the premiere of The Creator.
Dan is the co-founder of the marketing company YRDS, which manages sports stars.
Joey - who recently entered the Love Island villa - was rumoured to be dating Vanessa last year while they performed together on Dancing On Ice.
Viewers saw the couple grow close earlier this year filming the show, where they narrowly missed out on being crowned champions to Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson and his professional partner Olivia Smart.
In April 2023, Vanessa claimed that she was 'very happy' with Joey when asked about their romance, but MailOnline revealed just a day later that they were no longer dating and hadn't spent any time together since the final.
A source said: 'Joey absolutely loved his time performing with Vanessa on Dancing On Ice – he will treasure those memories forever.

Vanessa was asked about her relationship with the former TOWIE star this week, revealing 'me and Joey, we're doing very good, we are doing really good at the moment,' adding 'I'm very happy.'
But in reality the pair haven't spoken since the Dancing On Ice final due to their busy work schedules and for Joey, a change in lifestyle as he begins his property search in Dubai.
The pair's chemistry became a talking point during Dancing On Ice with even hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield making comments about their connection.
Their partnership saw them reach the final and dance the Boléro, while drag queen The Vivienne, who finished in third place, was unable to share their performance of the famous routine.
