Celebrity dentist Dr Sam Koh has attempted to recreate Chris Hemsworth's 'bad teeth' after the Aussie actor recently debuted a new crooked smile.

The principal dentist of Dental Boutique Mornington took to TikTok last week to reveal the Aussie actor's warped pearly whites were a set of poorly done veneers.

Dr Sam said the teeth were likely temporary composite veneers used to warp the Hollywood star's smile in his latest flick Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

'It looks like Chris Hemsworth now has crooked teeth. However, these are just temporary composite veneers that have been placed for his new movie Mad Max,' Dr Sam said.

'Chris otherwise has a really great natural straight smile. It looks like five really bad placed veneers [on his teeth].'

The dentist went on to attempt to recreate the award-winning actor's crooked teeth by placing 'resin composite veneers' on his own front teeth.

Shaping them to look almost identical to the one's put in Chris's mouth, Dr Kim then found himself in a pickle as he struggled to take the veneers off.

'They're just as easy to take off,' he said, before ripping one off his tooth with a bit of difficulty. 'Uh oh... that's one.'

Dr Sam told Daily Mail Australia that 'resin composite veneers are a common cosmetic procedure' used to 'reshape, recolour and straighten' teeth.

'However, in this case, as Chris already has a rather naturally-straight smile, they have been placed "poorly" for a unique look,' he explained.

'They are generally easy to place and remove safely if done correctly and by an experienced clinician, without the need to cut or drill into his natural teeth.

It comes after the Thor star, 40, showed off a mouth full of very crooked teeth in a video shared to Instagram last Tuesday.

The Australian actor smiled for the camera while sitting in a makeup chair, his front teeth varying lengths and out of place.

Luckily it was all in the service of movie magic, as Chris was being fitted for false teeth behind-the-scenes on the set of his Furiosa film.

In the apocalyptic adventure film, Chris plays warlord Dementus, donning a wig, fake facial hair and false teeth for the role.
