Sam Thompson reveals he is in hospital after not having the 'best' Bank Holiday weekend

Sam Thompson shared an update from hospital on Sunday night.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 31, was seen sitting in a doctor's waiting room in the new Instagram snap.

He displayed  a picture of his forearm which had been hooked up to a drip.

But Sam did not allude to exactly what had happened as he simply joked that the injury had messed with the long weekend. 

He captioned the post: 'Not had the best Bank Holiday weekend'.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Sam for comment.

Last month,  Sam opened up about his ADHD and zest for life as he gave a young schoolboy some sweet advice when presenting on Hits Radio.

The I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here winner was  taking part in the One Million Steps School Challenge for children's charity Cash for Kids to help vulnerable families during the long summer holidays.

During the show, the star arranged a Zoom call with Eleven-year-old Thomas Millington from Cheshire to discuss why he wanted his school to take part in the challenge.

However, the show took a sweet turn as listeners at home got to hear the pair bond over their ADHD diagnosis and their shared 'superpower'.

The sweet video, made the eleven-year-old become an internet sensation overnight as it received over 1.3 million views.

During the call, Thomas asked Sam 'How is it like having ADHD? Because I do have ADHD too' to which Sam responded with 'I think it's a complete and utter superpower'.

'I think that you are creative, you hyper-fixate on things you enjoy and you absolutely love.

'I think a massive thing Thomas, and this is probably the best advice I can give you, is find something that you absolutely adore, and put all of that ADHD into it cause you will succeed in anything you do if you enjoy it.

'I promise you, ADHD, if you are doing something you love, it's a superpower and you will literally be the best in the room.
