Sofia Vergara threatens to kill her lookalike niece, Claudia, for making their burger patties too thick in a dramatic sneak preview of her new cooking competition show Celebrity Family Food Battle.
In an exclusive teaser clip ahead of the launch of Roku Channel's new series, the Griselda actress bickers with Claudia over the size of the meat and is so anxious that it won't cook thoroughly that she calls upon her son and host of the show, Manolo, for help.
It all kicks off when Claudia, 31, brings attention to their impending culinary disaster and tells the watchful eyes in the kitchen: 'We're just having a little bit of an issue….'
Sofia, 51, then snaps: 'No, it's because she was disobedient. I told her we need the patties to be thin.'

The aunt and niece take on America's Got Talent judge Howie Mandel and his son, Alex, in the kitchen - and quickly feel the pressure
'Then why didn't you make them thinner?' Claudia claps back.
'Because you told me, "No, make it thicker,"' Sofia responds.
At this point, Sofia beckons for her 32-year-old son, Manolo, to come and inspect their patty.
'Manolo come and look, is this too thick?' she calls.
Tension continues to unfold as the pair - who are competing against America's Got Talent judge Howie Mandel and his son, Alex, in the episode - discuss their efforts in their confessional.
'It is too thick,' Sofia critiques. 'It's going to be raw.'
'She made me make them this thick,' Claudia replies, prompting Sofia to hit back. 'I didn't.'
She then quips: 'If we lose because of the thickness of the patties, I'm gonna kill her.'

With the coveted Golden Fork Award and money for their chosen charities at stake, the celebrity contestants will put it all on the line to impress the judges.
