Love Island couple spark rumours they're back together as eagle-eyed fans spot clues

Love Island's Catherine Agbaje and Scott van-der-Sluis have sparked rumours that they are back together after eagle-eyed fans spotted clues. 

The couple, who appeared together on the ITV reality show last summer, split after Casa Amour when she returned with bombshell Elom Ahlijah-Wilson. 

Catherine and Scott, both 23, then sent fans wild with their sizzling chemistry during the reunion show, just a few months later. 

The Welsh professional footballer went on to star on Love Island USA and spin-off show, Love Island Games the following November, but once again failed to find love. 

Now, it appears the duo could be back on after fans spotted Scott in Catherine's TikTok video. 

Sharing a clip last week, the former real estate agent could be seen as she danced with Whitney Adebayo, with Scott seen throwing his hands up the background. 

After noticing his cameo, one person commented: 'We love this duo and trio.'

'Pls pls pls pls pls be together!' another begged.  

A third wrote: 'You guys meed to stop teasing us and confirm you’re together.'

Catherine and Scott were a solid couple before Casa Amor but she returned from her time apart from Scott with bombshell Elom Ahlijah-Wilson, leaving Scott fighting back tears and their union in tatters.

Catherine and Elom went their separate ways just days after leaving the villa, with insiders claiming it was 'over before it even really started'. 

A source told The Sun: 'The pair struggled to make it work in the real world and barely saw each other since the show ended.

'They kept up a bit of a pretence, while they did the podcast circuit, but everyone knew it was over before it even really started.'

They added: 'Catherine's sister made no secret about her feelings towards Elom so it's no surprise she cooled things off straight away.' 

Scott and Catherine were then said to have slid into each other's DMs.

In August, the pair were quizzed by Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson on the status of their relationship during Love Island: The Reunion while Elom was awkwardly sat right next them.

Scott said: 'We're in a good place with it. We were friends before Catherine left the villa.'

It comes after Catherine said she and Scott both wish Casa Amor had 'never happened'.

During a TikTok live with fellow Love Island star Montel McKenzie, she said: 'I think Scott and I both wish Casa [Amor] never happened.

'It was actually a hard time. As easy as it looked it wasn’t. Even speaking to other Islanders today, they literally said Casa Amor was the hardest part.'

She insisted they would have been the couple to beat of they had all just stayed in the same villa for the series.

Catherine said: 'I wish we just had our villa life. It just felt as if like we were the couple to ruin. I don’t know if you get me. Let me not talk too much. Catch me at the reunion.'
