Happy World Book Day! Rochelle Humes and Jacqueline Jossa's children dress up as literary icons

Rochelle Humes, Myleene Klass and Amanda Holden were among a slew of stars celebrating World Book Day on Thursday, as they shared adorable snaps of their children dressed as some of the literary world's biggest stars.

In honour of the annual occasion, Rochelle shared cute images of her two youngest children Blake, three, and Valentina, six, dressed as Oompa Loompas from the Roald Dahl classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Rochelle then shared another snap of her eldest daughter Alaia-Mai, 10, dressed in a look inspired by the Babysitters Club series.

Myleene Klass went to great lengths for her son Apollo in honour of World Book Day, as she and her fiancé Simon Motson built a cardboard train.

The Smooth Radio presenter posted a video showing the process of building a cardboard version of The Little Red Train, complete a drum filled with sweets for his classmates.

Amanda Holden  and Ashley Roberts kicked off the celebrations on the Heart Breakfast show by transforming into mystical characters from the world of Narnia.

The pair stunned in their eye-catching costumes after taking inspiration from C. S. Lewis' novel The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Donning a sparkly white jumpsuit and fur shrug, Amanda turned into the villainous White Witch for her appearance on the early-morning show.

She finished her look with a matching silver crown as she posed for snaps in the Heart Radio studio.

Meanwhile, Ashley slipped into a lion jumpsuit to become the furry hero Aslan, teamed with adorable matching ears and heels.

Jamie went for a far more pared-back ensemble, arriving as the legendary Wardrobe by dressing in little more than a single plank of wood. 

Having penned a never-ending list of autobiographies, Katie Price revealed her daughter Bunny, nine, had chosen to celebrate World Book Day by dressing up as her famous mother.

The glamour model revealed Bunny had dressed up in an outfit inspired by her time on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

Jacqueline Jossa's daughters Ella, seven, and Mia, four, were dressed in very different costumes, with Ella as the Dr Seuss icon Thing 1, and Mia as Tinker Bell.

Spencer Matthews also shared a snap of his son Theodore and daughter Gigi dressed as Harry Potter and Paddington Bear, for the book-themed celebration. 

Kerry Katona's daughter DJ, nine, was also inspired by another classic Dahl character, this time the famous bookworm Matilda.

Sporting a blue summer dress, red ribbon and a matching grey cardigan, she completed her costume with a pile of her favourite novels. 

Millie Mackintosh posted sweet images of her two daughters channelling their inner princess for World Book Day.

The Made In Chelsea star quipped that her youngest daughter Aurelia, two, was dressed as Batgirl, as it's her 'favourite dress-up outfit.'

Millie then shared a cute snap of her eldest child Sienna, three, dressed up as Sleeping Beauty in honour of World Book Day. 

Classic FM star Dan Walker threw himself into the World Book Day spirit by dressing up as the legendary wizard Gandalf to host his radio show. 

After welcoming their third child last week, Aston Merrygold and his wife Sarah Louise shared cute images of their two eldest children dressed up for World Book Day, alongside their newborn baby daughter.

Sarah Louise shared a gallery of snaps of their sons Grayson, five, and Macaulay, three, with their eldest child dressed up as a chef from the book Where Are You Grayson and Macauley?

Meanwhile their youngest son Macauley looked adorable in a little Bluey costume.
