Jackiey Budden appeared overcome with emotion as she watched grandson Bobby Brazier lift the glitterball trophy during the Strictly tour in Newcastle on Thursday.
Jade Goody's mum, 66, was banned from attending the BBC dancing show's final, where Bobby was pipped to the post by Ellie Leach, amid her ongoing feud with his father Jeff Brazier.
Jackiey was in high spirits as she arrived at the Utilita Stadium alone, before being spotted wiping away tears as she sat in the crowded audience.
Travelling from her home Bermondsey, London, she wrapped up in a faux fur jacket and even brought along her own ten points paddle board.
Jackiey later got to her feet as she applauded and waved wildly at the stage following her grandson's performance.

Speaking following Bobby's appearance in Strictly's December final she said: 'I'm very, very proud of Bobby. He is doing amazing.
'It's great to see. I watch as a very proud nan. It's wonderful. Of course I am pleased he is doing well.'
But commenting on her ongoing feud with his father Jeff, she told MailOnline he has been a 'c**k for f****** nine years'.
Jackiey's daughter Jade shot to fame on the third series of the hit show but tragically died from cancer in 2009 aged just 27.
She was the first reality star to become a millionaire and amassed a £3million business empire, taking in books, perfume and exercise videos.
But despite her family's fame and success - she still lives in a ground-floor flat in an area locals say is blighted by gangs and drug dealers.
But while Bobby grew up in a £1.2million stylish home with his family in Essex, within a mile of Jackiey's estate, 381 crimes were recorded in September - around 12 a day, according to data.
That includes 68 violent or sexual offences, 15 robberies, 90 anti-social behaviour crimes and 28 burglaries, among many others.

The figure was 359 in August, while in September of last year it was 277.
Residents in the same block as Jackiey, described it being riddled with crime issues.
One said: 'There's drug-dealing everywhere. It's open. People get attacked and robbed.
'It has got worse in recent years. I feel sorry for Jackiey that she still lives here.'
Another, who said he was too frightened to give his name, said: 'I don't go out here after night.
'I know that women only tend to go out in groups. They're terrified.'
While Jackiey remains on good terms with grandsons Bobby and his younger brother Freddie, 19, she is embroiled in a bitter feud with their father Jeff Brazier, 44,
In September, she secretly got tickets to the National Television Awards to watch Bobby get a Rising Star gong for playing Freddie Slater in EastEnders.
She also enjoyed a drink as she watched her grandson take to the stage alongside other Strictly stars

There she was recorded branding Jeff a 'c***'.
Jackiey addressed the row with Jeff Brazier when speaking to MailOnline, she said: 'When I came out for the NTA Awards, I'm loud and it's the drink and someone went 'oh I bet you're really proud' and 'how do you get on with Jeff Brazier' and I said "he's a c**k".
'Next minute I'm on the internet and all over the papers. As I came out of the O2, someone overheard me say it, so they sold the story.'
When asked if she said it and why, Jackiey fumed: 'Of course I said it. I haven't got a problem with (calling him that).
'He's been a c**k for f****** nine years.
'Bobby doesn't need that stress on his head. He's my grandson.'
In 2021, Bobby confirmed in an Instagram video that he was back in contact with his nan after losing touch.
He said: 'I didn't see her for ages - for way too long - but I went to see her twice recently.
'And honestly if there's one woman you shouldn't underestimate it's my nan.
'Honestly, she's like a wizard! It's nuts.'
