A model has sparked controversy once again over her 'proudly child-free' life after she mocked young mothers in an Instagram video on Sunday.

Ellie Gonsalves, 33, who previously shared a controversial list of 118 reasons not to have kids, uploaded a scathing clip against parenthood to Instagram.

The reality star shared footage of a young mother struggling to dress her screaming and wiggling toddler.

Mocking the woman's struggles, Ellie clipped the chaotic video with one of herself sitting peacefully on her couch while dressing her well-behaved dog.

The blonde then smiled and gave her calm Pomeranian a smooch, showing she is relishing in being child-free.

Many followers slammed Ellie in the comments of her video, criticising her for 'putting down someone else's decision in some way to validate your own'.

'There clearly isn’t a good intent in this post. Are you not confident or happy with your choices? Or are you trying to spark a reaction in people who are?' one person wrote.

Another said: 'We get it, you don't want kids. no need to put it all over your Instagram.'

Someone else suggested Ellie shouldn't try to 'influence' people who consume her content with thoughts of a child-free life.

'It's okay if you don't want to have children, but you don't need to influence in your followers. Unfollow,' they said.

Despite the amount of hate comments she received, several fans rushed to Ellie's defense, with one person commented: 'There are so many mommy bloggers you can follow if you want to see people happy with the choice to have children. It’s not that deep.'

Another added: 'If your comment is negative... Here is a crazy idea... Don't follow her! She can put whatever she likes on HER Insta.'

A third said: 'When people share their joy about pregnancy and kids, they get praise. But when someone shares their joy about not having kids, they get bullied. This is the society we live in. The entitlement online is beyond a joke.'

Despite the amount of hate comments she received, several fans rushed to Ellie's defense

Among her reasons were: 'postpartum hair loss, your vagina will be different, your house will never be tidy, childbirth can cause rectal prolapse and you miss out on things you love doing'.

'I have already received hundreds of DMs criticising me telling me how much of a horrible and broken person that I am,' she wrote alongside the list at the time.

'And while some of those things on my list are satirical, many are serious and factual. Societal pressure when it comes to this topic are truly questionable and I believe unfair towards those with differing opinions.'

'Very rarely do we see a voice in support of this, because let's face it, the public backlash can be too much,' the reality star added.

'I think once you decide to bring consciousness into this world... you cannot and should never walk away from that responsibility. I don't want to accept that responsibility and I can't see myself ever accepting that responsibility,'  Ellie went on.

'My position is NOT for everyone, it's for one person, the person I am talking on behalf of, ME. I do however find it hurtful when I see people who do feel pressured to make this decision based on friends, family and societal pressures. I know this all too well because I have felt it for most of my life.'

Ellie's followers were quick to share their opinions about her list, with many supporting her but others being highly critical.

'So much fear. Better not to have kids if that's what you will instill into them anyway. Gosh, so many self-centred people in this world,' one person commented.

'Why are people so bothered. It's not their business, it has zero effect on their lives and yet they are so upset by it. Totally your choice!' another said.

One more wrote: 'Don't forget that you once were a baby and someone had the sacrifice so you could have life and experience the gift of life.

'Children are the most incredible miracle and the future of humanity. Definitely not everyone has to have children. But biology doesn't lie, the female body was created to birth the gift of life'.

Yet another commented: 'Your "list" on why you don't want kids are all negative, but how about the positives. The positives completely outweigh. Of course it's a person's choice as to whether they want to be a Parent, but a lot of your list were very vain reasons in my opinion.'

'I never wanted kids. Now that I have them, I know why I didn't want them. Now that they are here of course I love them and do everything thing for them but farkkkkk the daily grind is hard,' one mum said.

'People who PUSH kids on you are miserable and want you to suffer like they do,' another wrote.

'There is enough kids in this world anyway, not every woman's job is to reproduce, sometimes we need ones like you with a really hot body that protects animals and entertains and do a million other things,' another follower wrote.

Yet one more said: 'I'm with you. I'm 40, don't have kids, and never wanted kids. I'll be happy being a mom to fur babies.

'I had a coworker ask me once, "If you don't have kids, who's going to take care of you when you're old?" I remember thinking, (and still do), that that's a selfish reason to HAVE kids.'

One more parent offered: 'Kids suck. Period. Ask ANY parent who can be honest. They suck 80-90% of the time.

'Then a whole 10% of the time, mostly when they're sick and need you and aren't being a d**k, they're sweet and cuddly, then it's amazing to be a parent. If I were a betting woman, those are odds I would not take.'
