I'm A Celebrity winner Sam Thompson cosies up to his girlfriend Zara McDermott as she returns home after her hospital procedure

Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott have been spending some quality time together after a busy few weeks.

The Made In Chelsea star, 31, took to his Instagram Stories on Thursday to share a snap of himself cuddled up to former Love Island star Zara, 27.

The pair looked loved-up as Sam wrapped his arm around his girlfriend as they relaxed on the sofa together after his stint on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.

He gushed that he was 'happy to have the goose home' after Zara revealed she had undergone a mystery hospital procedure just days earlier.

However, she appears to be recovering as she took to her Stories to share a video of her poking fun at Sam as he fumed over the amount of Christmas deliveries arriving at their home.

As Zara couldn't stop laughing, Sam fumed: 'We've had so many people at the door! You've ordered things and not been here. I'm up left right and centre!'

Alongside the video, Zara penned: 'Anyone else's bf fuming at the amount of times the doobell goes in a day with all your deliveries???' 

Earlier this week, Zara revealed that she had been admitted to hospital for a mystery procedure.

The Strictly star concerned her Instagram followers on Tuesday as she shared a snap from her hospital bed.

Zara, who did not reveal what the surgery was for, donned a festive pink pyjama set and had a cannula in her arm as she took the selfie.

Alongside the picture, Zara penned: 'Had a little procedure done yesterday! Now ready for a super chilled Xmas.'

Zara had her boyfriend Sam by her side while recovering, as he shared a snap with her and wrote: 'My tiny goose recovering after a little op.'

Zara also celebrated her 27th birthday last week, after being reunited with Sam as he returned to the UK after being crowned the winner of I'm A Celebrity.

Sam was crowned the winner earlier this month, beating Tony Bellew and Nigel Farage, where he came out with over 50 per cent of the votes. 

As they reunited at the airport, Zara proudly clutched some balloons and flashed huge smile as she waited for him.

Upon their emotional reunion, the couple shared a kiss and held each others' faces, after spending four weeks apart.

Sam was joined on his flight by best pal Pete Wicks who had flown out to greet him in the jungle while Zara has remained at the couple's home in London.

She had previously explained to fans of the show that she wouldn't be in Australia due to her stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

'Pete is going. We've had a few laughs and jokes about this,' she explained in an Instagram post.

'But in all seriousness; Sam thought I was still going to be in Strictly (bless him, the optimism), so Pete cleared his whole diary for 2/3 weeks to be there.'
