Trouble in paradise? Robert Irwin and Rorie Buckey's 'romance rocked as the Wildlife Warrior's fame puts pressure on their relationship'

Robert Irwin and Rorie Buckey have been basking in the glow of young love for the last year, but sources claim cracks are beginning to show.

Despite looking every inch the madly in love couple online, insiders close to the pair have alleged the 'pressure' of the Wildlife Warrior's fame is taking its toll.

They said 'family members are slightly concerned' the couple, both 19, rushed their relationship, reports New Idea.  

'Robert's increasing fame is thrusting their relationship in the spotlight - and under pressure,' the source told the publication. 

'And that's only going to increase when he starts co-hosting I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! next year.'

They continued: 'On social media they're a vision of perfection, but the demands of Robert's schedule could be making it hard for the couple to have quality time together.' 

Nevertheless, it seems like Robert and Rorie are united in the face of external pressures on their relationship.

The lovebirds appeared to be in high spirits as they cuddled up in the airport before jetting out to Melbourne on Saturday. 

Robert looked very dashing in a black band shirt for The Wombats as he and his love arrived wearing face masks, which they later took off.

He paired the casual look with a set of black and white sneakers before slipping into some basic blue jeans for his flight. 

Meanwhile, Rorie slicked back her blonde tresses and opted for a pair of loose black slacks under a long-sleeved white shirt and black vest.  

Rumours have recently emerged that Robert is preparing to pop the question very soon, even though the young couple have only been dating for about a year.

According to New Idea magazine, the media personality could propose when Rorie visits him in Africa while he films I'm A Celebrity in the coming months.

'Everyone is convinced he is aiming to pop the question when they're in Africa,' an insider said.

'Robert is crazy about her and is planning something unforgettable when he formally proposes. They both know it is part of their plans so he's been dreaming up special ways to make it a surprise.'
