Nova star Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli enlists sons to pack copies of racy new novel: 'We've got orders to get out!'

Radio star Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli recently announced his shock career move, as the author of an erotic fiction novel titled The Far Too Personal Trainer. 

On Wednesday, the Nova 96.9 breakfast host shared a video to Instagram capturing him putting his two young sons to work, helping him send out copies of the book.

Wippa is seen sitting behind his desk in his home office, instructing sons Theodore, eight, and Jack, six, on how to prepare copies of the novel to send out to customers.

'You need to be careful with the process. You need to unpack the book and get them stamped,' a strict Wippa orders them.

Things come to a head when Jack tell him he accidentally double-stamped a copy.

'Right! Get me a hamburger and a Fanta, I'm starving in here. Jack, you don't double-stamp. We've got orders to get out!' a frustrated Wippa barks at his sons.

The hilarious host then lays down the law with his two sons when one of them calls him 'bossy'.

'You're living here rent free and you ate my hamburger. Don't double-stamp, get back to work!'

He then bursts into laughter to let his sons know he was just kidding around with them.

The breakfast host recently finished writing 'The Far Too Personal Trainer', which he began 10 years ago. 

'I get it. It's weird. It was a combination of things happening at the time. There was a lot of people in media and celebrities releasing kids' books,' he told news.com.au.

'I thought that no one's doing it for the adults. What about the adults that are looking for a bit of adventure, some spice and escapism?'

The Nova host said he got the idea for the novel a decade ago when he saw his wife Lisa reading the saucy 50 Shades of Grey book, and realised there weren't many erotic stories from the male perspective.

He has been married to the love of his life, Lisa, for nine years and together they share three children, sons Theodore, eight, and Jack, six, and daughter Francesca, three. 

Wippa, known for his chemistry with co-hosts Michael 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald and Kate Ritchie, has been co-host of the popular Fitzy and Wippa breakfast show for 13 years.
