Katie Ritchie looks downcast as she walks her dog in Sydney following her 'split' with boyfriend Chevy Black

Kate Ritchie was looking a tad downcast as she walked her dog in Sydney on Tuesday, following reports that she has split with boyfriend Chevy Black.

The Nova FM radio host, 45, went makeup free for the stroll alongside her pooch and seemed in low spirits. 

She opted for a black shirt with lettering across the front, along with a pair of leggings.

Kate completed her look with a cap, tucking her brunette ponytail underneath, and had a pair of headphones on, listening to something on her phone as she walked.  

It comes after a radio insider told Daily Mail Australia she split with Black nine months after they went Instagram official.

The pair, who would often put on on public displays of affection while out and about in Coogee, have not been spotted together for months.

An insider also told New Idea magazine there is a very telling clue their relationship is over.

'It seems like now he doesn't have any reason to keep his life hidden,' the source told the magazine. 

'Until recently, Chevy preferred to keep his life under wraps, with his social media set to private. He has now changed to a public Instagram profile,' they added. 

Ritchie recently fueled breakup rumours by sharing a reflective post to Instagram which captured her living her best life with a girlfriend, and no mention of Black.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to both Ritchie and Black for comment. 

Up until recently, the pair looked to be going from strength-to-strength after debuting their relationship in February.

In August, Kate took her romance to the next level by introducing Chevy to her mother Heather and daughter Mae.

The couple were first pictured together on a romantic picnic in early February.

The relationship came after Kate split from her ex-boyfriend John Bell and her shock rehab stint for alcohol dependency.

In October last year, Kate announced she was stepping away from the Kate, Tim and Joel show before it was revealed she was seeking treatment at an exclusive rehab clinic in Sydney.

In December, she said in a statement the last year had been challenging and stressful and led to an 'unhealthy reliance on alcohol'.
