The Kid Laroi announces he is bringing his The First Time tour to Australia in 2024 as dates are revealed

The Kid Laroi has announced he will be bringing his The First Time tour around Australia.

The rapper, 20, will kick off his tour in Melbourne in February 2024 before heading to Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and the Gold Coast.

'I'm so excited to be coming back home in February,' the Australian rap sensation, whose real name is Charlton Howard, said.

'I felt so much love from the fans on last year's tour — it's something I'll never forget. I can't wait for you to all see this new show — we've taken things to a whole new level.

'I love you and I'll see you all really soon.'

Telstra Plus Member pre-sale tickets will be available on Thursday, November 16 for 24 hours.

General public tickets will be on sale from 10am on Monday, November 20.

It has been four years since Laroi left Australia and moved to LA to follow his dreams of becoming a chart-topping rapper.

He is now one of the most famous hip hop stars in the world, and has collaborated with the likes of Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus.

The announcement comes months after Laroi is rumoured to have split from his girlfriend Katarina Deme after three years of dating.

In August, Laroi raised concern after he conspicuously deleted all photos of the American glamour model, 19, from his Instagram feed. 

Tellingly, Laroi uploaded an Instagram post telling his fans that he'd been dealing with troubling times.   

'I'm sorry I've been a bit silent. Been going through a lot recently,' the cryptic post began.

'I'm good but I've just needed space to focus on processing my feelings & work. Here to let you know that a lot of videos have been shot these past couple weeks, I shot the album cover & I'm working with the label to get you a date,' he continued. 

Laroi has subsequently released a song titled Bleed that tells the story of a relationship break-up, and grappling with the pain of seeing a former love move on with someone else. 

While fans have speculated the song is about Katarina, Laroi has not confirmed this.
