The twelve-time Grammy winner then turned back around and jokingly quipped: 'Oh, delicious.'

As fans laughed in relief that she was fine, Swift asked: 'Is there any chance that none of you saw that?'

'It's fine,' the Pennsylvania-born musician sighed. 'I've swallowed it.'

'So, I'm just going to try to not do as many of those,' she said unconvincingly before proclaiming that she could not guarantee that.

'This is going to happen again tonight,' she said. 'There's so many bugs. There's a thousand of them.

The brief pause happened as Swift was still onstage in between songs during her Evermore set.

At that moment, she was about to perform her song Tolerate It from her ninth studio album released as a surprise in December 2020.
