Amanda Holden calls out 'snowflakes and wokery' as she praises Britain's Got Talent comedian Markus Birdman for his edgy routine
Amanda Holden took aim at 'snowflakes' during Wednesday's Britain's Got Talent semi-final.
The judge, 52, was praising comedian Markus Birdman who made edgy jokes about following children and also his 13-year-old daughter playing a prostitute in a play.
Giving her feedback, she said: 'For all the snowflakes and all the wokery and everything else that's out there, I applaud you because this is the way forward, not the other way.'
During his set, Markus quipped: 'You don't know fatherly pride until you see your then-13 year old daughter play a "lady of the night" and absolutely nail it.'
He continued: 'Any women here? I no longer make jokes at the expense of women, which is a shame, because I had some really good ones.'

Later, he spoke about 'following your dreams', quipping: 'Dreams are like children, if you follow them too long, people get very suspicious.'
Markus then spoke about suffering a stroke before making a joke at judge Bruno Tonioli's expense.
He quipped: 'A few years ago I could barely string a sentence together and it's really great for Bruno to recreate that for me this evening.'
While Bruno took the joke in his stride, one judge who wasn't impressed with the routine was Simon Cowell, who pressed his buzzer during the set.
Speaking about his decision while the audience jeered, he said: 'Why are you booing me? You weren't laughing.
'That was the whole point. When we sit here, I gauge the reaction most of the time from what you hear behind us.
'Whether you're a singer, dancer, comedian, and yeah, and if you're a comedian how loud is the audience laughing?
'And compared to the comedian we had last night... not enough and that is the reason I buzzed you.'
Ultimately, Markus didn't receive enough votes from the public and crashed out of the competition.

Ghetto Kids and Travis George emerged triumphant after beating off stiff competition from guitar player Harry Churchill, magician Miki Dark, dance group Notorious, yo-yo experts Toy Toy Toy and singer Dylan B.
Ghetto Kids were revealed to have won the semi-final, by receiving the most public votes.
This left Travis to face off against Harry for a place in the final, which would be decided by the judges.
Alesha Dixon and Bruno both chose to send Travis through, while Amanda and Simon opted for Harry.
This tie left the decision up to the public vote, with hosts Ant and Dec revealing Travis to be the winner.
The singer fell to the ground with shock and told the audience: 'Thank you for getting me to believe in myself again.'
