EXCLUSIVE: Meet Robert De Niro's baby! Actor's girlfriend Tiffany Chen cradles newborn in NYC - after star, 79, shocked the world with arrival of his SEVENTH child

• The child - who appeared to be less than a month old - was dressed in a pink onesie 
• Chen - who was first linked to De Niro in 2021 and is believed to be 45 - was seen with a baby bump in March

Robert De Niro's newborn seventh child has been seen for the first time, as doting mom Tiffany Chen went for  a walk with her baby in NYC on Wednesday.

The iconic actor, 79, shocked the world when he revealed he had 'just had a baby' in an interview earlier this week - after Tiffany, who is believed to be 45 - was seen with a baby bump in March.

The pair's newborn child - who appeared to be less than a month old - was dressed in a pink onesie and swaddled in a white blanket as Tiffany lifted the baby out of a stroller.

Tiffany was also seen pushing a stroller with the couple's baby in, as they soaked up the sun in the Big Apple. 

Tiffany was seen cradling the couple's baby to her chest throughout the day as she reveled in new motherhood. 

And though the news of the actor expanding his brood may have been a surprise to fans, De Niro told Page Six at the event that he was not surprised to become a dad again and that the pregnancy with girlfriend Tiffany Chen was 'planned.' 

'How you could not plan that kind of thing?' he asked. De Niro also shared his feelings about becoming a father again. 

'I'm ok with it,' the actor told Extra when asked if he was excited. 'I'm good with it.' When asked if becoming a parent ever gets easier the Taxi Driver quipped, 'Never gets easier.' 

De Niro's About My Father co-stars Sebastian Maniscalco and Kim Catrall were thrilled for the actor, with Sebastian telling Extra on the red carpet that he had no idea the actor was expecting another child.

'I was informed today that he had the baby I didn't know leading up to this that he was going to have a baby but uh yeah God bless him.'

'He's a very soft-spoken individual loves to spend time with his family and I'm happy for him,' he added.

Meanwhile Kim sang Tiffany praises, 'God bless him, his significant other. Tiffany is such a beautiful woman. She came to the set once with her family and watched filming, and she was gorgeous and sweet. I'm happy for both of them.'

 It comes after the actor announced the surprising new addition to his family, telling ET Canada: 'I just had a baby.' 

De Niro revealed his happy news in a new interview, after he was asked by a reporter what it was like to be a father of six children. That is when he said he did not have six, but rather seven children, then shared that he recently welcomed a new child into his life. 

He did not share the name of the baby or the gender. 

They were photographed holding hands in July 2021 and in March of this year she appeared pregnant when leaving Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California.

His rep confirmed to DailyMail.com that De Niro did not make a mistake and that he does indeed have seven children.

The Godfather actor has six other other children; Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46 with his ex-wife Diahnne Abbott, Elliot, 25, and Helen, 11, with ex-wife Grace Hightower, and twins Aaron and Julian, 27, with former girlfriend, Toukie Smith.
