Aussie actor Adam Demos looks ripped as he runs errands in Byron Bay... after news broke there won't be a third season of Netflix hit Sex/Life

His Netflix show Sex/Life may have just been cancelled, but Aussie actor Adam Demos has never looked better.

The 37-year-old showed off his bulging biceps on Monday as he was spotted running errands in Byron Bay, New South Wales.

Dressed casually in a black tank top and shorts, the star kept a low profile by pulling down his cap and donning dark sunglasses.

He finished off his look with a pair of sneakers as he spoke to someone on his mobile phone while strolling through the tourist hotspot.

The sighting comes after Netflix swung the axe on its original drama series Sex/Life, as first reported by Deadline on Friday.

The show debuted its second season, which had a reduced six episodes compared to the first season's eight, on the streaming service just five weeks earlier.

A spokesperson for Netflix told the publication the second season had brought the series to a natural ending.

They said the streaming platform was 'proud' of Sex/Life and all the work put into it by its cast and crew.

The cancellation was oddly timed, as Sex/Life lead actress Sarah Shahi recently criticised Netflix and the series for what she saw as a 'gimmicky' approach to the second season.

Sarah, who spoke in February about falling in love with her co-star Adam, opened up about the season on an episode of Amanda Hirsch's Not Skinny Not Fat podcast last Tuesday.

While Sarah seemed quite pleased with the first season, she clearly wasn't happy with the direction it took in season two.

'I’m not going to put it down, but I definitely did not have the support that I did the first season from the people involved in the show. It became a much different thing for me, and I’m not afraid to say that,' Sarah admitted.

It's unclear if she knew that that season would be canceled when she made her criticisms.

She also added that Adam, whom she started dating in 2020 after meeting on the set of Sex/Life, doesn't have much involvement in season two.

'I struggled with the material. I just felt the thing that it had the first season — I mean, I’m never gonna work for Netflix again now after saying all this, but I can’t lie. And it was definitely a challenge,' she added.
