The Kid Laroi gives a shout-out to Justin Bieber at Coachella after they collaborated on the global hit Stay: 'Thanks for changing my f**king life'
The Kid Laroi thrilled fans when he took to the stage at Coachella on Saturday.
During his performance, the Aussie rapper paid tribute to his friend Justin Bieber, with whom he collaborated on the hit single Stay back in 2021.
Laroi, 19, whose real name is Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, thanked Bieber, 29, for 'changing my f**king life' by providing guest vocals for his song.
Justin had been spotted partying at the famous festival over the weekend.
'Justin, thank you for changing my f**king life, bro,' Laroi said on stage during his set.

'You're such a special f**king human being. I love you and I've got you forever, bro.'
He added: 'Thank you for being not only an incredible musician and collaborator, but thank you for being my f**king friend, man.'
After Laroi released his track Go ft. Juice WRLD, Justin sent Laroi a message complimenting him on his music.

From there the two developed a friendship that eventually led to them collaborating on the song Unstable for Justin's album Justice.
'That definitely shocked me. I was like, "Oh, s**t, this is crazy," because I looked up to him when I was little, so, yeah, that was crazy,' Laroi previously said.
The pair later collaborated on Laroi's track Stay, which topped the charts around the world.

Laroi recently made history as the youngest solo artist to top the Australian album charts.
And now he's on a mission to showcase his home country's rap scene to the world.
'I don't think America is completely switched on to how big [and] great the Australian music scene and culture is, but I think that's kind of my job to shed light,' he told Triple J.

The Waterloo-born star said he'd long dreamed of putting Sydney's rap scene on the map 'the way Drake did with Toronto'.
Born in Canada, rapper Drake often gushes about his home city of Toronto in his music, and even boasts a number of Toronto-themed tattoos.
Laroi, whose real name is Charlton Howard, added: 'You have to do it in a way where people get it and really see it for what it really is; how great the scene really is.'
'That's the most important thing - I don't want people to overlook it or think because it's my country, I really want people to recognise Australia is the f**king future of music, in my opinion.'
