Kate Ritchie reveals what it would take for her to return to Home and Away - as fans say Fitzy and Wippa isn't the same after she pushed Sarah McGilvray out
Kate Ritchie revealed on Tuesday morning that she's willing to return to Home and Away for a finale reunion.
The actor-turned-radio star, 44, has just landed a new job on air with Fitzy and Wippa after pushing out their beloved co-host Sarah McGilvray.
Now she has confessed to co-stars Ryan Fitzgerald and Michael Wipfli that she'd be willing to jump straight back into the soap that launched her career.
'Without a doubt. I think now, right now, if Home and Away was going to wrap up and they asked you to do a final show without a doubt you would do it,' Fitzy, 46, said.
'Absolutely,' Ritchie immediately replied.

'But see Home and Away is going to keep going for a long time. What age do you get to before you go, "No, I'm not doing this. I'm not coming back at 80 years of age as Sally Fletcher, to do this one last time," Fitzy pushed
'I think it would always come down to the fact, regardless of how old I was, if Ray Meagher asked me to come back, to change the sheets in the caravan park, I'd be there hands down,' Ritchie confessed.
It comes after loyal listeners of Nova's Fitzy and Wippa are tuning out after the Sydney breakfast show bumped long-serving co-host McGilvray to make way for Ritchie.

McGilvray's sudden exit and the introduction of Ritchie, formerly of Nova's national drive show, has led to fans complaining about the move on social media.
After the program posted a photo on Facebook of Ritchie with co-anchors Fitzy and Wippa, listeners flocked to the comments section express dissatisfaction with the new line-up.
One fan said the trio sounded 'awkward' and described the former Home and Away star as 'no match for Sarah'.
One listener said they simply would not 'bother' with the new team having heard Ritchie's work on the Nova drive program.
