Pixar dropped the trailer for upcoming animated film Elemental and it certainly proves that opposites attract.
The minute-and-a-half long clip featured stunning computer generated imagery and ended with the main characters Ember Lumen (voiced by Leah Lewis) and Wade Ripple (Mamoudou Athie) having a very sweet meet-cute.
If the names weren't enough indication Ember is the element of fire and Wade is the element water.
The film takes place in the fictional Element City where 'where fire-, water-, land- and air-residents live together,' according to a press release.

The clip begins when Ember - who is covered up in a hoodie - walks on-board of a subway on top of water.
It is there where you see many characters representing all four elements: fire, water, earth, and air.
Ember - who is described as a 'tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman' - definitely has something special about her as she walks by other passengers who have weird things happen to them like flowers sprouting on the 'armpit' of a land character.
She reaches the back of the car and looks out to the cityscape when a bump knocks the headphones off of her head.
That is when she goes to grab them and a water hand is shown attempting to do the same.

A drop falls down from the water hand onto Ember's and creates steam.
Wade - who is described as a 'fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy' - is then revealed for the first time as he made kind eyes toward Ember.
He says 'sorry,' leading to Ember to take down her hood before they introduce themselves to each other.
The Elemental title screen then pops up followed by the tagline: 'Opposites react 2023.'
The film is directed by Peter Sohn who is best known for his work in 2015's The Good Dinosaur.
Elemental is set for release on 6 June 2023 in the UK with a US release following on June 16.
