Lewis Capaldi pulls out of his ARIA Awards co-hosting gig with Natalie Imbruglia - but promises to return Down Under next year for concerts
Popular Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi has pulled out of his upcoming ARIA Awards co-hosting gig due to scheduling conflicts.
The Someone You Loved hitmaker, 26, has other commitments that mean he won't be able to appear on stage with Natalie Imbruglia on November 24.
'Due to scheduling issues, Lewis won't be in Australia for his planned November promotional trip. He will be return for his tour in July 2023,' a statement read.

Lewis could not contain his excitement when he was first announced as the Awards Night co-host earlier this year.
'Such an honour to be asked to co-host the ARIA Awards with the incredible Natalie Imbruglia,' he said.
Fortunately, Lewis' Australian fans won't have to wait too long to see him as he recently announced new July concert dates in Sydney and Melbourne.

Last month, Australian singer Mallrat slammed the ARIA Awards after the 2022 nominations were announced.
The 24-year-old, whose real name is Grace Kathleen Elizabeth Shaw, called out the awards for being 'male-dominated'.
'F**k the ARIAS. When I looked at the list of nominees this morning, my initial reaction was to feel personally underestimated and misunderstood by my album being snubbed,' she said in an Instagram story.

'Then I took a deep breath and I realised it's not about me. Approximately one in five of the nominees are non-male and in categories like heavy rock there are no non-male artists nominated at all,' she continued.
'I'm reminded the Australian music industry, like many industries, is dominated by men and in this case, men who don't think an artist is credible unless it's like a nonchalant dude playing guitar rock music. So f**k you guys, you don't get it.'
Mallrat went on to congratulate rock band Amyl and the Sniffers for receiving six nominations.
