Taylor Swift is releasing a brand new album on October 21st, she informed fans on Sunday night at the MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey.
As promised, the singer - who teased there would be 'more details at midnight' - revealed the title and artwork, with the album called 'Midnights.'
Swift - who is dating British actor Joe Alwyn - wrote in the caption: 'Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight.'
Midnights will be Swift's first album of new material since 2020's Evermore.

In the second slide of the post, the Grammy winner gave fans a bit of context of the concept behind the new long-player.
Alongside a picture of Swift with her head in her hands, she wrote: 'We lie awake in love and fear, in turmoil and in tears. We stare at walls and drink until they speak back.'
'We twist in our self-made cages and pray that we aren't - right this minute - about to make some fateful life-altering mistake.

'This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. The floors we pace and the demons we face.'

She concluded: 'Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight.
