Variety previously reported that not only had the show's YouTube channel been deleted, but the domains 'wendywilliamsproductions' and 'wendyshow,' which previously hosted the show's production company and the show's website, respectively, were listed as available for a GoDaddy auction.
So far, neither Williams nor her production company have commented on the deletion, which also saw the show's Instagram page disappear.
It's unclear which entity opted to have the content removed. Her YouTube video presumably brought in money from ad revenue, so deleting them cuts off a profit source.
Some fans directed their ire at Wendy's former production company Debmar-Mercury.
'Demar Mercury, you need to stop being messy [sic],' complained one fan. 'Every time I say I'm going to watch the Sherri show, you guys do some clown s***. Wendy didn't make a return appearance on her show for its final episode, which was hosted by Sherri Shepherd, who will be taking over the time slot with a talk show of her own.
Wendy has since announced that she will be moving on with a podcast of her own, which is presumably much cheaper to get off the ground than a TV talk show.
'I've got enough money to do something else, and what I've never done — podcast,' she told TMZ in a video chat interview late last month. 'Which, by the way, podcasts, everyone has. But when you're famous, podcasts will make more money for me, being famous, than doing The Wendy Williams Show.'
Following the interview, several fans expressed concern for the host's physical and mental health on social media.
Last week, Wendy's manager Will Selby revealed to The Sun that she had rescued her iconic purple chair from her television set in order to bring it with her on her podcast.
