The Project's Steve Price questions if Will Smith will 'ever work again' after shock slap of Chris Rock at the Oscars - while comedian Peter Helliar says he suspected it was a set up
The cast of The Project have shared their thoughts on Will Smith's shock slap of comedian Chris Rock during Sunday's Oscars.
Conservative commentator Steve Price wondered if Will will face the fury of Hollywood and struggle to land roles.
'I'm interested in what now Hollywood does in regard to Will Smith. It's obviously unacceptable to do what he did,' Steve said during Monday's episode.

'Knowing Hollywood, the wrath of God is probably going to come down upon him. There's talk about charges and they have ruled that out, but will he work again?'
Comedian Helliar added that he wondered if the exchange was a set up at first.
'The fact is he assaulted someone on stage. Not a smart move by Will Smith,' Peter said.

'Watching this live was absolutely incredible. You thought at first it was some kind of... a sketch,' he added.
'And it wasn't until Will Smith started yelling that you realised it was not a set up. And Chris Rock lost it and Chris Rock doesn't lose it on stage ever'.
Co-star Chris Bath said: 'I just thought they are both actors, how would you know. But it's so visceral, and if that was a set up they both deserve an Academy Award'.

She also added that there were 'mitigating circumstances' as Will was 'defending his wife'.
The slapping incident occurred after Rock cracked jokes about the 'GI Jane' haircut - referring to the Demi Moore character who famously had a shaved head - of Pinkett Smith. Pinkett Smith suffers from hair loss condition alopecia.
The shocking scene, broadcast live around the world, stunned both the live audience at the Dolby Theatre and TV viewers.

After Smith strode out on stage and slapped Rock with an open right hand, Rock staggered and exclaimed, 'Wow, Will Smith just smacked the s**t out of me.'
Smith, visibly emotional, walked back to his seat in the audience and shouted: 'Keep my wife's name out of your f***ing mouth.'
He later used his acceptance speech for his first Academy Award to defend storming onto the Oscars stage.

He won Best Actor for his portrayal of Richard Williams, the determined father who raised tennis champions Venus and Serena Williams, in King Richard.
But his first Oscar win was completely overshadowed by the assault, which occurred about 40 minutes before his award was unsealed.
'Love makes you do crazy things', the rapper and actor admitted as he accepted his first Best Actor Oscar.
