'It can get really uncomfortable': Zara McDermott details how her bloating impacts her confidence after indulging over the festive period

Zara McDermott has candidly detailed her struggles with bloating in a new Instagram post after indulging over the festive period.

The former Love Island star, 25, took to her Story to flog JSHealth Detox + Debloat vitamin tablets and told how before she started taking them she felt 'uncomfortable' and struggled with her confidence.

She then lifted her top up to show off her flat stomach which was the result of taking the supplement.

She explained: 'Many of you know that for a really long time I have struggled with bloating, I have put it on my Instagram and have had so many of you reach out and message me to say you have the exact same problem.

'Not only does it make me feel not confident about myself but it can actually get really uncomfortable. But so many of you have recommended that I give these J S Health detox vitamins a go!

'I don't believe in restricting myself especially over the Christmas period, so knowing I was going to be eating a variety of different foods (without necessarily knowing what the trigger is!) I took these daily over the festive period.'

'These were created by an incredible nutritionist Jess. They are vegan and gluten free. I feel like they've made a really big difference. It has really helped as I was often waking up really uncomfortable.'

It comes after on Tuesday Zara wowed fans as she shared a rare snap with her mother Karen. 

The reality star branded her mum 'one in a million' as she posted the sweet snap to Instagram.

In the photo Zara wowed in a busty white co-ord while stunning Karen looked chic in a black dress. 

Candid: She explained: 'Many of you know that for a really long time I have struggled with bloating, I have put it on my Instagram and have had so many of you reach out!'

Zara wrote: 'My mumma is well and truly one in a million,  the best person in the whole world.'

Fans quickly flooded the comments with praise for the mother daughter duo, with one writing: 'Can see where you get your stunning looks from'. Another wrote: 'Gorgeous beautiful mother and daughter' while a third typed: '  

Last week Zara flaunted her perfect bikini body in a sizzling new snap.

The star had her very peachy posterior on display as she shared a throwback holiday snap from a trip to the Maldives earlier this year.

She looked great in the patterned green two piece which had pretty tie detailing at the back and accentuated her deep tan.

Zara held her long blonde tresses up with her hair as she looked out at the clear blue ocean.  

Clearly pining for sunnier skies she captioned the snap: 'More travelling in 2022 pls!'

The reality star showcased her ample assets in a vibrant red satin gown as she pouted at the camera in a sultry snap shared to Instagram. 

She styled her golden tresses in glamorous waves cascading across her shoulders and sported a slick of bold red lipstick to match her figure-hugging dress.

In a caption alongside the snap, Zara, who is dating Made in Chelsea's Sam Thompson, announced that she has signed with YMU Entertainment, describing it as a 'dream come true'.

She penned: 'I am so excited to announce that I have officially signed with @ymuentertainment this is a complete dream come true for me.

It comes after she announced her car window was smashed by thieves who took off with her personal belongings.

The reality star, 25, took to Instagram on Thursday night to share the terrifying news, before pleading with the burglars to return a suitcase she's had since she was 15.

She also shared a photo of her black saloon featuring a black plastic covering over a broken window as she vented her frustration.

In her caption, the former Love Island contestant sarcastically penned: 'Love it when someone smashes my car window in and steals my bag and belongings.'

She revealed her personal trainer, Gary Ward saved the day by loaning Zara his space in an indoor car park, in order to keep her car safe. 

Despite the troubling ordeal, Zara appeared to be in high spirits and laughed while attempting to squeeze into 'the tightest space' within the lot.

On Friday morning she recorded herself addressing the robbers, along with her Made In Chelsea boyfriend, Sam Thompson, as they entered a McDonald's Drive Thru.

She cried: 'It means a lot to me,' while her partner quipped: 'Keep it. It's horrible, it's absolutely rank. Well done. You did a service to us. It's a child's suitcase!'

Zara captioned the clip: 'Thief... if you're watching this Please return my IT Luggage suitcase that I've had since I was 15. You can keep the contents [sic].'
