Carlos Alcaraz priced at 13/8 to beat American Tommy Paul in straight sets at Wimbledon... with odds of 14/1 for the match to go to a deciding fifth set tie-break

World No 3 Carlos Alcaraz faces a tough test when he comes up against American Tommy Paul at Wimbledon on Tuesday. 

The Spaniard was taken to a tie-break in the fourth set in his Round of 16 victory over  Ugo Humbert, after a five-set thriller in the third round over American Frances Tiafoe. 

Paul has made light work of his last two opponents, and his clash with Alcaraz will be the fifth time they have met in their careers - though just the first in a Grand Slam.  

Though the American is ten places lower in the world rankings, he and Alcaraz share a split 2-2 record across the four matches they have played. 

Alcaraz is the 1/4 favourite with Sky Bet to win the match, with odds of 13/8 for the Spaniard to take the victory in straight sets.
