Can an outsider win Euro 2024? Netherlands and Portugal are fifth and sixth-favourites at 7/1 and 9/1 respectively - as the quarter-finals kick off this weekend

While many fans and pundits are of the belief that it will be England, France, Germany or Spain who are crowned champions at Euro 2024 - there are four dark horses remaining in the last-eight who are more than capable of upsetting the tournament favourites.

With that in mind - read on as we take a look at the outsiders with Sky Bet to win Euro 2024.

A team to have slightly gone under the radar at the tournament is the Netherlands. After winning just one game in the group stage - many had written off the Oranje.

However - with a star-studded team that includes the likes of Cody Gakpo, Virgil van Dijk and Memphis Depay - one would be foolish to count them out.

Their enormous talent was evidenced in their dominant round of 16 display last night - as they thumped Romania 3-0 to progress to the quarter-finals at the Euros for the first time since 2008.

For those predicting Netherlands to build on that win and go all the way - Ronald Koeman's side are fifth-favourites at 7/1 to hoist their second Euros trophy.

Meanwhile, Portugal are sixth-favourites at 9/1 with Sky Bet. Despite entering the tournament as one of the four best-backed nations - a loss to Georgia in the group stage and a disappointing showing against Slovenia in the round of 16 has seen them widen in the betting lines.

They needed penalties to get by Slovenia on Monday - which came after Cristiano Ronaldo missed one from the spot during regular time.

With that being said - similarly to the Netherlands - they have too much talent to not be competitive.

Switzerland and Turkey are the seventh and eight-favourite in the market currently - with the pair priced at 12/1 and 33/1 respectively

Switzerland have been impressive at the tournament so far, going unbeaten throughout the group stage which included a 1-1 draw with hosts Germany.

They followed up their impressive group stage showing with a 2-0 victory over defending champions Italy in the round of 16 - setting up a mouthwatering quarter-final clash with tournament favourites England on Saturday.

When you consider how well Switzerland have played through four games and how poorly England have looked - you would think Granit Xhaka and Co are confident of causing the upset.

Lastly, major outsiders Turkey kept their hopes alive of a maiden title with a shock win over tournament surprise packets Austria last time out.

Will their campaign end at the hands of the Netherlands in Berlin? Or, can Turkey cause yet another upset and reach the semi-final? We will find out on Saturday.
