Arthur Fils and Alexander Zverev clashed during a tense and dramatic Hamburg European Open final on Sunday. World No 4 Zverev - who was born in Hamburg - was facing off against the 20-year-old Frenchman hoping to make it back-to-back titles in his home city. Fils won the first set, before Zverev fought back, but the flashpoint came in the deciding set. With the score at 5-5 and Fils a break point down, he unleashed a controversial underarm serve, which infuriated Zverev.

Enzo Fernandez was paraded at his boyhood club River Plate on Sunday in Argentina before the whole stadium was filmed appearing to sing the racist chant he is being investigated over. Max Verstappen sensationally collided with Lewis Hamilton during the closing stages of the Hungarian Grand Prix. Verstappen had attempted to overtake Hamilton into turn one but ended up clipping the Mercedes driver's right front tyre and went flying through the air. Rosenborg's clash with Lillestrom was abandoned on Sunday after fans made their feelings known about VAR. Manchester United have been slammed for profiting from Mason Greenwood's sale and urged to donate their earnings to women's charities. Last week, Greenwood, 22, sealed a £30million deal to the Ligue 1 club after undergoing a medical and signing his contract, ending his protracted Man United saga. The forward spent last season on loan in LaLiga with Getafe and had not played for United since being arrested in January 2022.

Posting a snap of her French bulldog and a sonogram, Laura shared the happy news with the caption: 'Hey baby.' Conor McGregor informed Mike Perry that he is fired from his bare-knuckle promotion after his sixth-round knockout defeat by Jake Paul. The 32-year-old Bare Knuckle Fighting champion was a last-minute replacement for Mike Tyson after the boxing legend pulled out of his proposed showdown and Paul. But Perry took a beating against the Youtuber-turned-boxer, hitting the canvas three times before the referee stopped the bout early. Trent Alexander-Arnold has made it clear who he would like to replace Gareth Southgate as England manager. In a strange turn of events that demonstrate exactly how referees earn their money, Brasilian side Flamengo were awarded a penalty in perhaps the strangest set of circumstances you'll see in a long time. The league match between Brasileiro Serie A teams Flamengo and Cricuima was destined for a draw, but a late spot-kick from Flamengo forward Gabriel Barbosa settled the game 2-1 in the host's favour. A late penalty is dramatic in any normal situation, but the drama goes through the roof when it's awarded in as bizarre a circumstances as this.

The 28-year-old Scottie arrived to the par-4 9th fully in the mix but started to trail as soon as his tee shot went wrong. He eventually lost out to Xavier Schauffele in his bid to win his third major of the year. Scottie's breakdown was tough to watch, but the look on his face after a terrible last day in Scotland said it all as he closed his eyes, knowing he committed way too many errors.
