Baker Mayfield and his Bucs teammates hilariously impersonate Conor McGregor ahead of his UFC return later this month

Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers gave their hilarious Conor McGregor impressions as the Irishman's UFC return edges closer.

After breaking his leg in a loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021, McGregor is slated to make his walk to the Octagon on June 29 against Michael Chandler at UFC 303.

On Tuesday, the Buccaneers and ESPN MMA collaboratively posted Mayfield and his teammates having a go at making McGregor impressions.

'Can this be censored?' Mayfield asked before proceeding. 'Who the f*** is that guy?' he continued - imitating McGregor's Irish accent.

The famous quote came from McGregor's exchange with Jeremy Stephens at the UFC 205 press conference back in 2016.

Aside from the quarterback, KJ Britt, Chris Braswell, Rachaad White, and Jamel Dean also took their shot at the iconic fighter's accent. Meanwhile, Graham Barton, Antoine Winfield Jr, Yaya Diaby, Calijah Kancey, and Marcus Banks opted to reenact McGregor's signature 'Billionaire strut.'

While events from the past week cast doubt on the McGregor-Chandler main event, the fight is still on as far as the UFC pages are concerned.

The skepticism toward the highly-anticipated meeting began when a June 1 press conference in Dublin got postponed in the 11th hour.

After the presser was called off, McGregor apologized to the fans and cited the cancelation was due to a 'series of obstacles out of our control.'

The UFC paused advertising UFC 303 on pay-per-view and archived the free Conor McGregor fights posted to promote the event.

McGregor and UFC chief Dana White remained quiet through the period, while Chandler hinted through an Instagram post that he had left training camp and went home to Nashville.

'If you're looking for me, I'll be out in Tennessee. No way out of the life we chose,' Chandler wrote. 'Walk On. See you at the top!'

Additionally, the UFC reportedly sent out feelers and looked for potential replacements, gearing for a worst-case scenario.

However, fans saw a ray of light when the campaign for the fight resumed. On June 8, the UFC posted an official promo for the UFC 303 main event across their YouTube and social media platforms.
