Gareth Bale and Kieran Trippier have reportedly been offered a Brexit exemption over their non-EU status by LaLiga.
Both players were due to take one of the three non-EU places in their respective matchday squads after the UK left European Union.
However, LaLiga and the RFEF have reached an agreement that will allow all UK nationals based in the top two divisions to compete as EU players in the next 12 months.

According to Marca, the deal - which was first discussed at the end of 2020 - will allow UK players to remain as EU squad members as long as their contract began prior to Brexit.
The exemption will remain in place until the end of each players contract - allowing Bale and Trippier to play for both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid with ease.
As it stands, Bale's contract is due to expire in 2022, while Trippier is tied to Los Rojiblancos until 2023.
Real have two other non-EU players among their ranks in Japan midfielder Takefusa Kubo and Brazilian Reinier, although both players will be sent out on loan and not be included in their squad for the coming campaign.
While the deal will also cover several other non-EU players, including Celta Vigo midfielder Jordan Holsgrove.
