Newcastle defender Fabian Schar welcomed £45million signing Anthony Gordon with a light-hearted warning following their explosive scuffle at St James' Park last October.
Having joined the high-flying Magpies from Everton this week, Gordon was midway through his tour of the facilities when he was greeted by the Swiss centre-back, who was receiving treatment from the club's physios.
The last time the pair met on the pitch, during Newcastle's 1-0 home victory against the Toffees in October, Schar felt compelled to intervene when Gordon squared up to his captain Kieran Trippier.

Schar and Gordon were involved in a heated altercation during Newcastle's 1-0 victory against Everton at St James' Park in October
As Trippier dispossessed Gordon with a firm challenge, the Evertonian reacted by getting in the face of the England international, who swiftly walked away from the confrontation.
It did not take long for Schar and team-mate Nick Pope to charge over to the Toffees winger, escalating the situation by firmly pushing the 21-year-old backwards.
After shaking hands and exchanging pleasantries with Schar at the club, Gordon joked that the centre-back will now protect him from opponents rather than the other way around, seeing as they are team-mates.
Eager not to let the winger forget their heated altercation at St James' Park, Schar simply replied: 'You'll have to deserve it first.'
The Swiss defender then cracked a smile, which prompted a nervous laugh from Gordon, who looked keen to brush the incident under the carpet.
Having made the switch from relegation fighters to Champions League contenders, Gordon insisted he made a 'massive step' in his career by joining Newcastle.
The youngster, who missed three days of training at Goodison Park in an attempt to force the move, said: ‘It was a really difficult decision and it’s been a really tough week for me. I’ve been at Everton for my whole footballing career so far, so it’s been difficult, but this is an opportunity that I couldn’t really miss out on.
'I didn’t mean to disrespect or offend anyone at Everton, and I’m hoping they know that, and hopefully they can reinvest the money now and stay in the Premier League. They got a lot of money for me. I never imagined it or wanted it to go like that, that’s why it’s been such a tough week.
‘Since I heard of the interest, I was always convinced Newcastle were for me. I think the fan base and the city really suits me as a person, the way the team are playing under the gaffer at the minute really suits me, and the club just look like they're heading in the right direction.
I feel like it's a really big step. People haven't seen what I'm capable of yet. I think under the gaffer (Eddie Howe), and the way the club's going, I can really excel here.'
