Newcastle co-owner Amanda Staveley has been mocked for her part in one of the most awkward attempted handshakes ever.
Eddie Howe's side moved out of the relegation zone with an impressive 3-1 victory over Everton thanks to an own goal by Mason Holgate, a strike by Ryan Fraser and a stunning free-kick from new signing Kieran Trippier.
After the final whistle, BT Sport footage showed Staveley reaching across to her right to try and shake someone's hand.

She extended an open palm, as did the other person, before they quickly changed to greet Staveley with a fistbump.
By the time Staveley went to reciprocate the fistbump, the other party had opened up their hand again.
Staveley tried desperately one more time to shake their hand, before giving up and waving them away as they as went back for the fistbump.

She then continued clapping the team as supporters in the stadium sang 'Hey Jude' after the Magpies took the important three points.
Staveley was mocked on social media after the awkward handshake and fistbump fail.
Olly May commented to the footage: 'Quite simply the worst fist bump/handshake I have ever seen there from Amanda Staveley.'
Many were comparing it to a game of rock, paper, scissors.

A Manchester United fan in response asked: 'Is this how rich people play Rock Paper Scissors?'
Marton Suranyi congratulated Staveley for winning the game as they commented: 'Good, old rock-paper-scissors, best of 3, well done to her.'
One person felt sympathy for Staveley as they posted: 'Do this all the time. Bloody pandemic.'
While another fan commented: 'Even that rich bloke put his hand on her arm as if too say leave it out you’ve blown it.'
Newcastle are now two points clear of the relegation zone, though Burnley in 20th are four points behind and have two games in hand.
