A 23-year-old man has been charged over the murder of a missing childcare worker after police seized a car and searched a tip.
Sam Thompson, 22, has not been seen since March 7 after leaving his apartment in Albion, north of Brisbane.
His distinctive orange 2016 Ford Mustang was found abandoned near Byron Bay in northern New South Wales two days after his mysterious disappearance.

Forensic officers are continuing investigations after a search warrant was executed at a property in Bald Hills overnight.
The property 'remains a primary crime scene', police say after a white Chrysler 300 was seized.
The resident has been charged with one count of murder and interfering with a corpse as he is due to front the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.
Mr Thompson's body has not yet been located as investigation continues.
