Cops discover disabled school bus towing a trailer filled with farm animals… and were sickened to find what they were REALLY being used for
Animal welfare workers in Pennsylvania have revealed how they rescued animals being used for bestiality from a dilapidated school bus towing a trailer.
Police contacted SPCA officials after discovering the disabled school bus, which contained 30 birds, including chickens, roosters, ducks, and turkeys.
Three German Shepherds and an Australian Shepherd were also removed from the vehicle.
A bull and a pony were found in the trailer hitched to the back of the bus - both of which officials said were 'being used for bestiality purposes.'
They added the chickens were used to feed the dogs.

The local SPCA stated on Facebook, 'This is a difficult situation we don't encounter frequently, and it's something we hope to never see again.'
The post added: 'I’m not going to go into a lot of detail because as I said, it’s been a really hard day.
'This is not something we see everyday and it’s not something we ever want to see again.
'The Adams County SPCA will be closed to the public until further notice. We need a few days to take care of the animals and get them the help they deserve!'
Sean Hershbein was taken into custody after police reviewed outstanding warrants in another state. And an unidentified female was left with the vehicle.
Due to Herbein's past offenses, all the animals will undergo testing for human DNA. Testing is projected to cost around $10,000, which the state has agreed to pay for.

Fortunately, the SPCA said all the animals are in good physical condition 'considering what they've been through.'
However, the Adams County SPCA will be closed to the public until further notice as they prioritize caring for the rescued animals.

Facebook users in the comment section were appalled by what the SPCA posted, with some clinicians offering mental health services to the SCPA workers who rescued the animals.

'Do the SPCA staff/volunteers get debriefed by a clinician after such events (like other first responders do)? If not, I'd like to help make that available to you all if possible,' one user commented.
'As someone mentioned in a comment above, it is difficult to turn off what you see when you go home and some of the things you are subjected to can be traumatic in their own right.'
A third wrote: 'Every person who is sickened by this repulsive situation needs to write to the people who are supposed to represent you in the state legislature.
'We need stiffer penalties for cruelty and puppy mills need to be shut down.'
