The Duchess of Sussex has the ability to spark sell-out trends whenever she steps out with the 'Meghan effect' in full force.
But her faithful followers might have some trouble emulating the royal's accessories with her handbags alone costing almost £40,000.
The pregnant duchess, 37, who is expecting her first child with Prince Harry in the spring of 2019, has fascinated the nation with her lavish collection of designer bags.
Despite favouring more low-key bags in subtle hues of tan and black leather, the designer pieces still come with a hefty price tag- with her Fendi Peekaboo Essentials tote costing a staggering £3,850.
Prior to meeting Prince Harry, Meghan already had an estimated net worth of just under £4million, earning a reported annual salary of $350,000 a year from her role in Suits.
The duchess will have had to pay for her own wardrobe by herself before her May wedding to Harry, after which she gained access to Prince Charles' funding- although it is not confirmed whether she has made use of this.
While the Queen is rarely spotted without a bag by her favourite designer Launer London, Meghan definitely prefers to shake things up in the handbag department.
As well as mainstream designers including Givenchy- the same brand as her iconic wedding dress, Gucci, Saint Laurent and custom-made Dior, Meghan also favours British brands including Mulberry and pieces by her pal Victoria Beckham.
And Meghan isn't afraid to branch out to more affordable options, toting a J.Crew Fan Rattan Clutch costing just £70 at the Polo in July this year, and purchasing a Fijian Masi Clutch at a local market during her tour of Australia in the Autumn.
We take a look at The Duchess of Sussex's magnificent collection of luxury bags....
