Prince William 'agreed to have post-match beer with King of Denmark' after the two royals watched Euro 2024 match, says lip reader

Prince William agreed to share a beer with the King of Denmark while watching England at the Euros this week, says a lip reader.

The Prince of Wales, who turned 42 yesterday, was spotted cheering on the Three Lions alongside King Frederick at the England vs Denmark game in Germany on Thusday - but for the two royals, the celebrations didn't stop there, according  Mirror.

The future king - whose wife Kate Middleton today penned him a sweet birthday post saying 'we all love you so much' - was perhaps planning his very own lads' night out with the King of Denmark.

Perhaps to console themselves over the draw, the royals, who were supporting their respective national teams, allegedly discussed sharing a post-match beer.

According to lip reader Nicola Hickley, King Frederik said: 'Do you drink Heineken? After the game, we should have one.'

Prince William simply responded: 'yeah', according to lip reader Nicola.

Back home, the Princess of Wales commemorated her husband's birthday by sharing a sweet new portrait, along with a heartwarming message.

The fun portrait shows the heir to the throne excitedly leaping in the air with his three children, who are also jumping.

'Happy birthday Papa, we all love you so much!,' the caption reads, signed off by Kate Middleton, with an 'x'.

The family are dressed in casual clothing - with William sporting a hoodie and shorts - as they grin mid pose for the snap, taken by his wife in Norfolk last month.

William and the children appear to be enjoying a sunny day at the beach - which looks similar to the one in the backdrop of Kate's Father's Day photo for her husband, shared on Sunday.

On William's right, his daughter Charlotte can be seen sporting a stripy ensemble as she lifts one arm in the air while a more timid Louis, donned in a light blue tee from Next - looks down while clutching his father's hand. On his left, a delighted George - sporting a Navy Nike shirt - can be seen waving at the camera.

Fans were delighted with the joyful photo of the Prince's young family, some calling it 'possibly the best photo they've seen' of the Waleses. Others dubbed the royal the 'chillest Prince' in the comments.

The National Museum of the Royal Navy also followed with a heartfelt post, praising his 'significant stint with the Royal Navy as part of his military training completing a two-month attachment in 2008'.

'His diverse training has been a testament to his commitment to serving his country,' it added.

However, the festivities came the day after the Prince watched England's disappointing Euro 2024 draw against Denmark.

William, president of the FA, was pictured alongside Denmark's King Frederick as the two teams went head to head in Frankfurt, Germany, with the Three Lions drawing 1-1 in their second match of the tournament.

The heir to the throne has faced a challenging 12 months with both his wife the Princess of Wales and father the King diagnosed with cancer.
