Queen Maxima ofthe Netherlands ditched her usually opulent style for a sleek blue suit today as she headed to a charity visit in Wieringerwerf, northern Holland.

Despite opting for a suits, the monarch, 53,  added her typical flair by opting for a bright blue colour.

The summery look was paired with a white T-shirt and towering nude heels.

Perfectly complementing the summery linen suit was a nude clutch bag.

The mother-of-three accessorised with oversized colourful earrings and tucked he blonde locks back behind her ears.

She then framed her face with a lick of black mascara and dark pink lipstick, while showing off her tan from her recent visit to the Philippines.

Maxima's visit today was part of the  Leading Locals program of MIND Us in the Cultuurschuur in Wieringerwerf. 

The Queen is honorary chairman of the group  which helps young people with mental health problems.

It comes after she looked angelic in a white peplum top and cream skirt for a roundtable discussion at the UN in the Philippines, as part of three day visit in the southeastern Asian country.

The Dutch royal, who was involved in talks with development partners to help improve financial inclusion in the country, looked her usual glamorous self for the visit in the floral pattern top. 

The mother-of-three paired her the summery look with a knee-length beige skirt and subtle make up including warm flushed cheeks and a nude lip.

She accessorised with a brooch featuring a glowing pearl which matched perfectly with her shimmering white pearl earrings. 

A trained economist who had a career in international finance and emerging markets, Máxima was appointed as the UN Secretary-General's Special Advocate (UNSGSA) for Inclusive Finance for Development in 2009.

The queen first visited the South-East Asian country in 2015 where she began working to help improve 'financial inclusion' for 'all types of people'.

Since then, progress has been made in the Philippines where now the number of adults with one bank account has risen to from 26.6 per cent 51.4 per cent in 2021.

It's been a busy few weeks for the royal.

Her trip to the Philippines comes after a busy week of engagements in the Netherlands.

Last Thursday evening, Máxima wowed in a statement one-shoulder jumpsuit on Thursday evening as she attended a ceremony celebrating the very best of Dutch business.

Featuring a diamond broach on the left shoulder, the royal's cream satin outfit was nothing short of a showstopper.

As such, it was the perfect choice for 'Oscars of the Dutch Business Community', the King Willem I Prize, which was presented in the northeastern city of Zwolle.

Máxima's striking wide-leg jumpsuit, which showed off her toned physique, featured a slim waist belt in the same cream satin with a rectangular buckle.
