I bought one of Ryanair's new £8 cocktails - but it looked nothing like the pictures and I had to make it myself

A man got a shock during his Ryanair flight after he bought one of the budget airline's new cocktails and was given the ingredients to make it himself.
Marty Guilfoyle, from Dublin, said he was 'extra' excited to try the new range of alcoholic beverages on a family holiday.
He opted for a cocktail named 'Dublin lemonade' which consisted of Jameson Irish Whiskey, Sprite and sparkling water.
The DJ spent £8 (9.50 Euro) on the drink and expected it to be either made for him by the cabin crew or at the very least come premixed in a can.
A picture of the cocktail on the Ryanair app shows it in a glass with a wedge of fruit on the side, reminiscent of what you would find in a bar.

But what he received was very different.
Instead, he was given the individual ingredients to make it himself.

The clip then showed his friend adding the spirit to the cup before pouring the Sprite and sparkling water. They did not appear to be given a stirrer or anything to mix the drink with.
Speaking on the clip, Marty said: 'When I saw the news that Ryanair was now serving cocktails onboard it got me extra excited for a family trip this week.
'There's the ingredients, go on there and make it yourself.
'I thought they might have pre-made from a can but I definitely didn't think you'd have to make it yourself.'
He captioned the video, which was posted on Instagram: 'Come with me to make a cocktail on board a Ryanair flight.
'It's the first time I've heard of a Dublin lemonade and [to be honest], it's [delicious].'

Users commented on the clip and said they were not surprised that he had to make the cocktail himself
However, fellow passengers did not seem shocked in the slightest, with people commenting that it was what they would have expected from the airline.
One wrote: 'We should've known really,' while another chimed: 'No surprise there.'
Another penned: 'They're s****. Got a Caribbean one. All excited. They arrived with a Fanta and vodka.'
A third said: 'Cocktail making experience is what it was supposed to say hahahahaha.'
A fourth commented: 'No this is so iconic and of course we couldn't expect anything less.'
Ryanair has been contacted for comment.
