Virgie Hilburn OBITUARY

Virgie Hilburn, age 95, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024 at Boulder Canyon Health and Rehabilitation, Boulder, Colorado. She was born July 17, 1928 in North Carolina to the late Arvel and Ruth Bradley Davenport. She was raised in Cleveland, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters, her husband Charles Edward Hilburn, and two sons, Bruce and David Hilburn. She and her husband managed an RV park for many years in Lake Wales, Florida. She enjoyed searching for treasures at thrift stores and, after relocating to live with her daughter in Colorado, she joined a lunch group at the Louisville Colorado Senior Center, which met weekly. She is survived by her daughter, Lynda Hilburn and her grandson Daniel Robles, in addition to her niece Judy Mercer and nephews Steve and Don Scoggins.
