Marcie Levine OBITUARY

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marcie Levine on June 12th, 2024 of complications from a cycling accident. This unexpected passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, the Boulder community and her extended community. She was an amazing woman, wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, who will be remembered for her love of family, friends and animals. She was whip smart with a great sense of humor who cared so much about the people around her. Her generosity was boundless. Marcie and Brian opened up their home for family gatherings, and to family, friends and strangers for short and long term stays. With trips too many to list, Marcie had a passion for life and travel. Her continued interest in experiencing diverse cultures and meeting new people took her around the world. She often combined her passion for travel with her love of animals by bringing veterinarian supplies and money to countries in need. Marcie was founder and CEO of SurveyConnect for the past 29 years. Leveraging her HR expertise, she built a company from the ground up to help companies create a better environment for their employees. She will be deeply missed her friends, her husband Brian Stern, their son Matthew, her brother, Steven Levine and Stern and Levine families. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, July 13th, at the Boulder JCC at 1 pm. The family appreciates donations in honor of Marcie to the following organizations: the Boulder Humane Society which Marcie and family have supported for many years, Cyclists 4 Community which advocates for safe cycling in Boulder County, and the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab where Marcie went for her acute rehab after her accident.
