Krista Lynn Socash OBITUARY

Krista Lynn Socash was born on September 30, 1968 at Community Hospital in Boulder, Colorado. She was the wife of Joseph Demulling, daughter of Rege and Dickie Socash of Boulder, and sister to Diana, Lesley, and Connie Socash. She attended Elementary and Junior High School in Boulder and graduated from Fairview High School where she enjoyed being a cheerleader. Krista studied ballet at Ballet Arts, tap and jazz dance at The Elma Dean School of Dance in Boulder and participated in dance performances throughout the Boulder area. She also studied piano and did public performances. She studied Fine Arts at the University of Colorado and graduated from the Colorado Institute of Art in Denver. While growing up she traveled around the country and to Europe with family and friends and enjoyed trips to the Pittsburgh area to spend time in Oakmont and Valencia with her grandparents. Krista shared a lifelong love of animals, personally having dogs and cats, riding horses and even spending time on a Montana cattle ranch as a dude wrangler. She worked several years locally in the computer and graphics arts field before starting her own consulting and women’s support business. Krista married Joseph Demulling and relocated to Lake Havasu City, Arizona and continued her consulting business and where the two of them began an extensive home design and remodeling program well acknowledged by their circle of Arizona and former Colorado friends. A unique individual loved and very much liked by many, she had a good sense of humor, a special gift for making acquaintances and perfect strangers feeling good about themselves and comfortable in her presence. Friends and family wishing to acknowledge their association with Krista are encouraged to carry on her practice of being a truly nice person and one who will be missed by many.
