She was ordained by the United Church of Christ in 1991 and was certified as a Specialist in Church Education. Her home church membership was the First Congregational Church of Boulder, UCC. Her ministry ranged from the national church level as a curriculum developer, consultant and workshop leader for the Western region, to the local level where she served individual churches as interim pastor during times of illness, vacations, sabbaticals or searches for new permanent pastors. She served as a supply pastor for the Union Congregational Church of Ward for her last 12 years. Her focus on children and youth included the church camping program where she organized, directed and/or served as a counselor for 38 years at our Rocky Mountain Conference camp, LaForet, near Black Forest, CO. Her ashes will now become a part of that camp as it was so much a part of her.
