Nature & History Hike: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Chautauqua, 900 Baseline Road, Boulder. Venture back 120 years on this three-mile hike with an enthusiastic naturalist. Come and discover how the histories of Chautauqua & Open Space Mountain Parks are woven together. The guide will interpret the history, flora and geology that provide inspiration along the trail. Chuck Sitero at The Velvet Elk Lounge: 8 p.m. Wednesday, The Velvet Elk Lounge, 2037 13th St., Boulder. Chuck Sitero is the songwriter and lead singer for High Lonesome, a bluegrass band from the Colorado Front Range, based in Longmont. Originally from North Georgia, Sitero cut his teeth on bluegrass music at the legendary Everett’s Music Barn in Suwanee Georgia, which is a mecca for bluegrass music.
