Firefighters are in the mop-up process of a fire in the area of the Joder Trailhead after it spread to 3/4 of an acre.

According to Boulder County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Vinnie Montez, multiple agencies were called to the area at 11:10 a.m. Monday.
Initially Boulder Fire, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Lefthand Canyon Fire and Boulder-Rural Fire were called to respond, however, due to the work of first responders, the fire was knocked down to a smaller response, Montez said.
Lefthand Canyon Fire is the lead jurisdiction and the cause is under investigation, according to Montez.
