No one was injured in a fire near Erie early Friday morning.
According to a Facebook post, Mountain View Fire Rescue responded to a report of a fire on 119th Street just outside of Erie. Crews arrived to find a tree on fire, and the flames were spreading to a small fence.
Rick Tillery, a spokesperson for Mountain View, said a call came in about the fire around 1:30 a.m. The Facebook post said the fire was put out and mopped up within 30 minutes. Crews were also able to secure animals nearby.
Tillery said a fire marshal is on scene investigating the incident.
